Trip to Malacca Zoo - 01.01.2006

Bringing a kit lens to the Malacca Zoo was a disappointment experience as I can't really get the shot that I wanted to. Anyhow, I did enjoy my trip there. Here's one of the photo which I really like.
Say cheese....
EXIF: ISO 800, 1/100s, f/8, 47mm.

I was able to catch their attention because of the reflection of my UV filter.

I like taking pictures with my cameras too. Do you find that you prefer digitals? I like my old point, zoom, adjust, and click Canon with the wide lenses. It makes me feel that I have to work very hard to get a good pictures. The problem with digitals is that you can try so many times, and that defeats the purchase of mastering any skills. On the other hand, it is awfully convenient for taking everyday event pictures, like birthday celebrations or kids at the games. It's just that I feel like cheating taking artsy pictures with digital cameras. I am not sure what your take on this is.

Hi Rob,
I'm just an amateur who take up photography when I first got my digital camera. I would think that going digital is a cheaper way of learning photography and it has become one of my hobby. I'm the kind of person who do trial & error. :P At the end of the day, when I do capture the great moments, I'm very happy & satisfied.
